Character Name: Dante Sparda
Series: Devil May Cry
Timeline: Post DMC3
Character History: Dante is the son of Sparda, a demon who rebelled against the armies of the Devil in the name of true justice. After sealing the Seven Sins, Sparda had two sons; Vergil and Dante. These two went their separate ways in life, but find themselves drawn back together in an eternal power struggle to best each other. Dante has a long and extensive knowledge of demons of every sort and is a demon-hunter by trade. He runs this business from his shop, Devil May Cry.
Abilites/Special Powers: Dante's only inert ability is Devil Trigger; He unleashes the power of his demon blood, which makes him extremely fast and static to the touch. (It alters his appearance as well.) Devil Trigger is extremely brief. We're talking like, ten second periods at max. Dante's other acquired abilities include Quicksilver, (unleashing a short range time lapse to evade attacks; also very brief) and Trickster, (short forward dashes that can be linked. a sort of Flash Step for demons) aaaand, general mastery of melee weapons and most guns/artillery, can shred the axe like no one, extremely agile, technically incapable of dying by normal means. (You can shoot him in the head and he won't bat an eye. Impaled? Blown up? Shot repeatedly? HAH. He will succumb to high amounts of consistent duress and collapse or, you know, bleed for a while. But he won't die.) His arsenal includes; Cerberus (nunchaku), Nevan (Scythe guitar), Rebellion (Sword), Beowulf (gaunlet/greaves set), Agni&Rudra (flame/wind blades), and his twin handguns Ebony & Ivory.
